KGF star Yash has finally addressed the speculations surrounding his casting in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film Ramayan. Amid rumours that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been finalized to portray the roles of Ram and Sita, respectively, in the ambitious project, Yash’s participation as Ravan has been a topic of discussion. Recently, Yash broke his silence and hinted that the rumours are unfounded, indicating that he is indeed a part of the highly-anticipated film.

In response to the ongoing speculation, Yash quashed any doubts about his involvement, stating, “I’m not going anywhere. Don’t worry about rumours,” as quoted by Pinkvilla. With this statement, Yash subtly conveyed that he is very much a part of the grand venture, putting an end to the conjecture surrounding his role in Ramayan.

Producer Namit Malhotra aims to create the biggest film that Indian cinema has ever witnessed with Ramayan. The project boasts an exceptional team of industry professionals, including a renowned VFX crew, a stellar cast, and extravagant sets, all working together to bring the world of Ramayan to life on the silver screen like never before.

A recent report by Pinkvilla suggested that the filming of Ramayan is slated to commence in December of this year, with Ranbir, Alia, and Yash taking on the lead roles. Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena, and Namit Malhotra are producing the film, with Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar serving as the directors.

Yash’s last appearance on screen was in KGF: Chapter 2, which was released last year. The film proved to be a massive success, crossing the milestone of ₹1000 crore in global box office collections. It enjoyed a wide release on over 10,000 screens worldwide and created a record as the largest release for a Kannada film. Additionally, dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages further contributed to its immense popularity.

As Yash’s fans eagerly anticipate his forthcoming venture in Ramayan, the confirmation of his involvement has only heightened the excitement surrounding the project. With a talented ensemble cast and a team dedicated to creating a cinematic spectacle, Ramayan holds the promise of delivering an extraordinary cinematic experience.
