Vishnu Manchu, recognized for his versatile performances, embarks on a thrilling cinematic journey with “Kannappa,” a highly anticipated action adventure directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.

The unveiling of the film’s first look poster, showcasing Vishnu Manchu in the role of a warrior poised with his arrow towards a Shiva Lingam against a verdant forest backdrop, has piqued audience interest. The recent update from producer Mohan Babu reveals the completion of the film’s inaugural schedule in New Zealand, spanning an impressive 90 days.

“Kannappa” is set to narrate the tale of Bhakta Kannappa, a devout follower of Lord Shiva. Penned by Paruchuri Gopala Krishna, Thota Prasad, Eashwar Reddy, and G. Nageswara Reddy, the screenplay is credited to Vishnu Manchu himself, who embodies the titular character.

Earlier this year, Vishnu Manchu faced an on-set incident during an action sequence involving close-range drone shots, resulting in an unfortunate collision causing injuries to his hand. The actor received immediate medical attention, ensuring his well-being.

“Kannappa” boasts an ensemble cast featuring Preity Mukundan, R Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, and other esteemed talents in pivotal roles. Speculations suggest possible extended appearances by renowned actors Mohanlal and Prabhas, yet unconfirmed.

Produced under the banners of 24 Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment by Mohan Babu, the film enlists the musical talents of Stephen Devassy and Mani Sharma.
