Actor Urvashi Rautela has been hospitalized in Hyderabad following a fracture sustained while filming her upcoming movie, NBK 109. According to a report from the Free Press Journal, Urvashi was admitted to a local hospital after suffering what has been described as a ‘terrible’ fracture during the shooting. Her team disclosed that the injury occurred during a high-octane scene, and she has been experiencing considerable pain since then. Urvashi had recently travelled to Hyderabad for the film’s third schedule.
NBK 109, directed by Bobby Kolli and featuring stars like Nandamuri Balakrishna, Dulqueer Salman, and Bobby Deol, began filming in November 2023. The film’s music is composed by Thaman S, although its release date has not yet been announced.
Urvashi, known for her work in Hindi cinema since 2013, made her debut in Telugu cinema last year. She has appeared in special numbers such as “Wild Saala” from Akhil Akkineni’s “Agent”, “Boss Party” from Chiranjeevi’s “Waltair Veerayya”, and “My Dear Markendeya” from Sai Dharam Tej and Pawan Kalyan’s “Bro”.
In her recent film, “JNU: Jahangir National University”, Urvashi portrayed the role of a college politician. Directed by Vinay Sharma and produced by Pratima Datta, the political drama also stars Siddharth Bodke, Rashami Desai, Ravi Kishan, Vijay Raaz, Piyush Mishra, and Sonnalli Seygall. The film released in theatres on June 21, showcasing Urvashi’s versatility in different cinematic roles.
