Trisha and Karthi respond to rumours of their films coming together for LCU
Trisha and Karthi who are currently awaiting the release of their upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan 2, have reacted to rumours of their films being a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).

The team of Ponniyin selvan 2 has been gearing up for the release of the magnum opus. The entire cats had begun promotions in full swing. They were in Mumbai recently. The film features an ensemble cast which includes Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Sobhita Dhulipala, along with others. Trisha and Karthi responded when asked about Leo being part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
The film Kaithi featuring Karthi, is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe along with the Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram. The filmmaker soon announced the much talked about action-drama Leo featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan in lead roles, which also believed to be a part of LCU.
Trisha Krishnan exclusively told Pinkvilla, “I do know whether it belongs to the LCU or not but I am not allowed to say because I am going back to shoot with them from May 1, and I will get an earful.”
Karthi, who is already a part of that universe, added, “I am not saying anything about it right now. It’s only PS 2.”
Leo will see Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan reuniting after 15 years. Along with the two superstars, the film will also feature Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist. The team recently completed a major schedule of the film in Kashmir. This Tamil language action entertainer is set to release on October 19, 2023.
