In a surprising decision, the state government declined the 7 AM shows for “Leo” after a careful evaluation of the prevailing situation. Despite the setback, ardent fans wasted no time in displaying their devotion, flocking to the theatres in droves.
While the morning shows were delayed, the subsequent 9 AM screening witnessed an overwhelming response, particularly from the male audience, captivated by the gripping performance of Thalapathy Vijay and the narrative prowess of “Leo.”
Notably, breaking barriers and setting a precedent, SRK Cinemas in Chengalpattu organized an exclusive show for women fans at 12:30 PM The special screening, arranged by the Vijay People Movement’s esteemed leader MS Balaji, garnered significant attention, with around 250 complimentary tickets extended to eager female admirers.

Notably, Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 30 crore to the movie’s overall success, while the Telugu-speaking states added another significant sum of Rs 15 crore to the box office collection.
