Thalapathy Vijay’s Birthday Surprise: First Single ‘Naa Ready’ from Film ‘Leo’ to be Released

Thalapathy Vijay, the popular Tamil actor, is all set to delight his fans with a special surprise on his birthday, June 22. The first single from his upcoming film ‘Leo’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be released on the actor’s birthday, adding to the excitement of his fans. The director recently shared the poster of the first single titled ‘Naa Ready’, creating a buzz among Vijay’s ardent followers.

Taking to Twitter, director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the details of ‘Leo’s’ first single along with a captivating poster featuring Vijay. In the poster, the superstar exudes a charismatic and rebellious aura, with a cigarette in his mouth and a gun in his hand, against a lively party backdrop. Dressed in a sleek black outfit, sporting a stylish hairstyle and beard, Vijay embodies a gangsta vibe that has heightened the anticipation for the film.

Accompanied by the official poster, the director tweeted, “First Single NaaReady on actor Vijay Anna’s Birthday Leo.” Earlier reports had speculated that Lokesh Kanagaraj had planned to release a teaser video of Vijay on his birthday, with Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan lending his voice. However, it has been clarified that the first single will be the surprise treat for Vijay’s fans on his birthday, which falls on June 22.

About ‘Leo’:

‘Leo’ marks the second collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, following the massive success of their previous film, ‘Master’. The highly anticipated movie is rumoured to be a gangster drama and is said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), an action-crime thriller universe established by the director. In ‘Leo’, Vijay will portray the role of a gangster in his 40s.

Actress Trisha Krishnan, who reunites with Vijay after a gap of over 14 years, plays the female lead in the film. Additionally, Sanjay Dutt, the renowned Bollywood actor, is set to play the antagonist and also portray Vijay’s father in the film. ‘Leo’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Gautham Vasudev Menon, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas, and others in supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music for the film, further enhancing the excitement surrounding ‘Leo’.
