As the highly-anticipated action-thriller film ‘Leo‘ approaches its release, Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay, along with the film’s writer Rathna Kumar, director Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the entire ‘Leo’ crew, visited the Tirumala temple in Tirupathi to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara Swamy.
Rathna Kumar shared a photo with Lokesh on his social media, where both can be seen wearing traditional shirts and veshti as they went for darshan at the revered temple. The Tirumala temple is a popular destination for directors, actors, writers, and producers in the South Indian film industry to seek blessings.
‘Leo’ has been generating buzz with its promotions, unveiling posters featuring Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan in their characters. The film also released its latest track, ‘Anebenum,’ composed by the acclaimed Anirudh Ravichander, known for his recent success with ‘Jawan.’
‘Leo’ is a dark, gritty, and violent film with a gangster theme. Vijay portrays the titular protagonist as a ruthless killer on a violent and deadly mission to eliminate his targets. The movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, Santi Mayadevi, Mathew Thomas, and Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles.
Produced by Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy, ‘Leo’ is set to hit theatres on October 19, 2023. It will be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
