In the adorable clip, the superstar can be seen grooving to the chartbuster song “Butta Bomma” from Allu Arjun’s film “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo,” alongside Pooja Hegde and a group of children on the sets of their movie “Beast.” Vijay’s candid and lively nature stole the show, making the video an instant hit among fans.

In the Instagram post, Pooja Hegde captioned the video, “Just this little gem on my phone from the sets of Beast since it was @actorvijay Thalapathy’s bday yesterday #buttabomma #behindthescenes.” The actress had made Vijay groove to the iconic “Butta Bomma” song during the filming of their movie “Beast,” which was released last year. Although Vijay joined the viral Butta Bomma trend a bit late, his energetic performance has won hearts, leaving fans mesmerized.

“Butta Bomma” became a sensational track from Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde’s film “Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.” The song’s catchy hook step took the internet by storm, with celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Karthik Aaryan, and David Warner also joining in on the trend. Now, two years later, Vijay’s participation in the Butta Bomma trend has taken it to a whole new level.

“Beast” marked the first collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film was released in 2022 and achieved commercial success, despite receiving mixed reviews from audiences. The songs from “Beast,” including “Arabic Kuthu” and “Jolly O Gymkhana,” became instant hits among the audience.

Thalapathy Vijay’s highly anticipated film is “Leo,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film’s first look and the first single, “Naa Ready,” were released on the actor’s birthday and received an overwhelming response. Trisha Krishnan plays the female lead, while Sanjay Dutt portrays the antagonist in the film.

Pooja Hegde, on the other hand, is yet to announce her next project. Although she was initially part of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas’ film “Guntur Kaaram,” the actress has decided to opt out due to changes in the shoot schedule and script. A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla, stating that Pooja was not satisfied with the project’s progress and has chosen to focus on other Telugu and Hindi films instead.
