Telugu actress Sreeleela has emerged as a prominent name in the South film industry, securing a position among the highest-paid actresses. At just 22 years old, she has already showcased her versatile talent in various roles alongside leading stars, leading to several successful films and increasing her market worth. According to reports, Sreeleela is now charging a whopping Rs 2 crore per film, placing her alongside esteemed actresses such as Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Mandanna, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Rakul Preet Singh.
Born on June 14, 2001, in the USA, Sreeleela was raised in Bengaluru in a Telugu-speaking family. Initially, she aspired to become a doctor and was pursuing her MBBS when destiny had other plans for her. In 2019, she made her debut in the film “Kiss,” which earned her the Best Female Debut Award at the prestigious South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA). Interestingly, Sreeleela was chosen for the role after director AP Arjun discovered her on social media.
Her second film, “Bharaate,” paired her opposite Srimurali, and her performance received praise from critics. As her career progressed, Sreeleela ventured into the Telugu film industry with “Pelli SandaD” in 2021, followed by the Kannada film “By Two Love,” where she impressed audiences and critics alike with her emotive acting skills.
In the movie “Dhamaka,” alongside Ravi Teja, Sreeleela experienced commercial success, further establishing herself as a bankable talent in the industry. Her growing popularity and talent have resulted in a string of exciting projects, including Srikanth N Reddy’s directorial debut “Aadikeshava” with Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Anil Ravipudi’s “Bhagavanth Kesari” and “Guntur Kaaram,” helmed by Trivikram Srinivas. Additionally, she is set to star in “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” with Pawan Kalyan, directed by Vijay Deverakonda.
Notably, Sreeleela also secured a significant opportunity by replacing Rashmika Mandanna in a film opposite Nithiin, under the direction of Venky Kudumula.
