Rebel star Prabhas is currently in the spotlight due to his impressive array of projects, further solidifying his global recognition, particularly with hits like *Baahubali*. Recently, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy praised Prabhas for elevating South Indian cinema to the global stage during a felicitation ceremony hosted by the Kshatriya Seva Samiti.
At the event, Chief Minister Reddy acknowledged the Kshatriya community’s commitment to excellence and highlighted Prabhas’s significant contribution to Tollywood. He credited the actor for bringing international acclaim to Telugu cinema, stating, “Prabhas, through *Baahubali*, has given Telugu cinema global recognition. We cannot envision the character without Prabhas.”
Revanth Reddy also compared Prabhas to the esteemed actor Krishnam Raju, noting how Prabhas’s work, particularly with *Baahubali*, has set a high standard and created stiff competition for Hollywood. “Krishnam Raju was a leading actor of his time, and now Prabhas, with *Baahubali*, is competing with Hollywood.”
Prabhas continues to thrive with a string of successful performances. Following the global success of the *Baahubali* series and his recent blockbuster *Kalki 2898 AD*, he has an exciting lineup of upcoming projects. These include the sequel to *Salaar*, titled *Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam*, Mukesh Kumar Singh’s *Kannapa*, Maruthi’s horror-comedy-romance *The Raja Saab*, and a period action film by Hanu Raghavapudi centered on the Razakar movement, which recently commenced shooting.
