Popular couple Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan, known for their contributions to the Tamil film industry, were spotted together in Chennai on Saturday, attending the thrilling Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians match. The actor-director duo was joined by several other renowned celebrities, including their close friend Anirudh Ravichander. Known for their unwavering support for the Chennai Super Kings and cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni, most Tamil cinema celebrities were present at the Chepauk Stadium, cheering for their favourite team.

During the match, Vignesh Shivan took to his official social media handles to share some lovely moments with his wife, Nayanthara. The couple clicked a goofy selfie together, capturing Nayanthara’s playful side. Vignesh Shivan shared the adorable picture on his Instagram, captioning it with a kiss, a red heart, and blessed emojis. On the work front, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are balancing their parental responsibilities along with their professional commitments. After stepping out of the Ajith Kumar-starrer AK 62, Vignesh Shivan is reportedly set to direct a comedy thriller featuring Nayanthara and Love Today actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan in lead roles.

Nayanthara, on the other hand, has an exciting lineup of projects. She is making her Bollywood debut in the film Jawan, where she stars alongside Shah Rukh Khan in the Atlee directorial, scheduled to release in September this year. Additionally, she will be seen in the upcoming thriller Test, sharing the screen with R Madhavan and Siddharth, which is set to commence filming soon.
