Taapsee Pannu’s Journey of Overcoming Challenges and Achieving Success

In an old interview, Taapsee candidly shared her experiences during that phase, stating, “Everyone started calling me an unlucky girl and an unlucky charm because a couple of my films in Telugu did not work. Honestly, I would not say that I thought a lot about these films before signing them because I had no clue at the time.”

Despite facing setbacks, Taapsee chose to learn from her mistakes and grow as an artist. She realized that signing films based solely on big names did not always guarantee success. Coming from a non-film background, she took control of her career and started selecting roles that resonated with her, rather than being swayed by external opinions.

Taapsee’s determination and hard work paid off when she ventured into Bollywood with the critically acclaimed film “Pink” alongside Amitabh Bachchan. The film’s success marked a turning point in her career, and she went on to deliver powerful performances in movies like “Thappad” and “Manmarziyaan,” further solidifying her position in the industry.

Recently, Taapsee took a well-deserved break after a busy year with multiple releases, including “Looop Lapeta,” “Mishan Impossible,” “Shabaash Mithu,” “Dobaaraa,” “Tadka,” and “Blurr.” Her upcoming projects have created much anticipation among fans and industry insiders alike.

One of the highly awaited films is “Dunki,” where she will be sharing the screen with the charismatic Shah Rukh Khan. The movie, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is slated for a December release.
