Sundeep Kishan Unveils Glimpse of His Commanding Role in Dhanush’s ‘Captain Miller

The anticipation surrounding the release of Dhanush‘s much-awaited film, “Captain Miller,” directed by Arun Matheswaran, has reached new heights. Initially slated for a December 15th release, the film is now set to grace the silver screens during the Pongal festival in 2024.

Sundeep Kishan, who plays a pivotal role in the film, recently took to social media to offer a sneak peek into his character. Sharing a captivating poster on Instagram, the actor expressed excitement, stating, “From the world of #CaptainMiller#CaptainMiller for Pongal 2024.”

The unveiled poster features Sundeep Kishan seated on a rock, exuding intensity as he holds a piece of paper in hand. Dressed in khaki attire and sporting a beard, his commanding presence is further emphasized. The backdrop showcases his team standing behind him, hinting at the film’s immersive narrative.

About ‘Captain Miller’:

The film boasts a stellar cast, including Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nassar, Sundeep Kishan, and Vinoth Kishan, among others. Dhanush will portray the titular role of Captain Miller, also known as Eesa or Analeesan.

In a recent update, the filmmakers announced the film’s official release during Pongal/Sankranti 2024, heightening the excitement among fans.

“Captain Miller” is produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films. The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, renowned for his work in films like “Soorarai Pottru” and “Mark Antony.” The cinematography is handled by Siddharth Nuni, with Nagooran Ramachandran in charge of editing.

Reports suggest that the film may be released in two parts, with Shiva Rajkumar and Priyanka Mohan playing crucial roles in the first part, and Aditi Balan taking centre stage in the second. However, no official confirmation has been provided.

Sundeep Kishan’s calendar is filled with exciting projects, including the highly anticipated “Captain Miller,” set for a Pongal 2024 release. Rumours also circulate about his involvement in Dhanush’s untitled D50 project, expected to hit the screens next year.
