Sreenivas Bellamkonda and Nushrratt Bharuccha, the lead actors of the upcoming Hindi remake Chatrapathi, were recently spotted promoting the film in Mumbai. The film is a remake of SS Rajamouli’s 2005 Telugu action drama of the same name. The actors kept their look comfortable and casual for the promotion.
Nushrratt was seen wearing a printed jumpsuit, while Sreenivas opted for a black shirt and jeans. The film is directed by VV Vinayak and written by V Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote the original Telugu film. Chatrapathi also stars Bhagyashree, Sharad Kelkar, and Karan Singh Chhabra in pivotal roles.
The film follows the story of a man who fights for his people against a tyrant ruler. Sreenivas and Nushrratt will be seen playing the lead roles in the Hindi version. Nushrratt expressed her excitement for the film, saying that it is her first Pan-India action drama and that she couldn’t have asked for a better film than Chatrapathi.
Sreenivas also shared his excitement, saying that working with Nushrratt has been great and that the film is very special to them. The original Telugu film starred Prabhas and Shriya Saran in the lead roles and was a massive success at the box office.
