Sonu Sood Cooks Dosa and Bhature for Crew, Including Rhea Chakraborty

Sonu Sood, known for his philanthropic work and versatile acting career, recently showcased his culinary skills on the set of MTV Roadies 19. The actor, who is hosting the show, decided to don the chef’s hat and prepare dosas and bhatures for the crew, including actor Rhea Chakraborty, who is one of the gang leaders on the show. The shooting for MTV Roadies 19 is currently taking place in Himachal Pradesh. Sonu took to Instagram to share a video of himself cooking, adding a delightful twist to the shoot.

In the video, Sonu Sood can be seen standing near a dosa stall, preparing his tawa (pan) as he declares, “Hyderabad me dosa ki dukaan kholi thi, aaj yaha pe khuli hai” (I had opened a dosa shop in Hyderabad, and now it is open here). He then invites Rhea Chakraborty and asks her if she would like a dosa. Rhea, walking closer to him, responds, “Aap banaenge to kyu nahi khaungi” (Why wouldn’t I eat it if you prepare it). Sonu then asks for her filling preferences, and she requests a plain dosa without the potato mash. Sonu assures her that the dosas will be as crispy as she likes, considering she is such a big star. Rhea also playfully asks for the price of the dosa, but Sonu responds, “Arre free me hai, le jaao” (Oh, it’s all free, take it along).

Sonu’s culinary skills extend beyond dosas, as he also rolls and fries bhaturas for the crew. However, his comment referring to someone as “coming from China” received criticism online. Internet users expressed their disappointment with the remark, highlighting that it was inappropriate to label someone based on their appearance. Despite this incident, Sonu shared the video on his social media platforms, suggesting that anyone interested in a franchise of dosas and bhatures should contact him. Fans flooded the comment section with praises for the actor, expressing their admiration for his multifaceted talents.

This is not the first time Sonu Sood has displayed his cooking abilities on a set. In April 2021, he was spotted preparing dosas on the sets of the film Acharya in Hyderabad. In a video shared by Sonu, he mentioned, “It’s a special powder used in the South. I am often asked by the makers of my next venture to come on the set on my off days to make dosa for people because of my excellent cooking skills.”

As Sonu Sood continues to win hearts with his acts of kindness and versatility in both philanthropy and the entertainment industry, his latest venture into the culinary world has added yet another dimension to his vibrant personality.
