Shiva Rajkumar’s Fondness for Mohanlal Revealed During Ghost Promotions

As the highly anticipated Kannada film Ghost gears up for its release on October 19th, Shiva Rajkumar, the lead actor, took a moment during the film’s promotional activities to share insights into his relationship with the esteemed Malayalee actor, Mohanlal. Acknowledging Mohanlal’s friendly demeanour, Shivanna highlighted his jovial nature and expressed his admiration for the accomplished actor, mentioning that they try to meet whenever their schedules permit, even though their encounters are infrequent.

Shiva Rajkumar’s recent cameo appearance alongside Mohanlal in Rajinikanth’s blockbuster film Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, received widespread praise from both audiences and critics, further solidifying their on-screen camaraderie.

Regarding the much-anticipated film Ghost, Shiva Rajkumar’s significant role marks his first lead appearance this year. Directed by MG Srinivas, the action-packed heist film boasts an ensemble cast including Jayaram, Prashanth Narayanan, and Satya Prakash, among others. Notably, the film also introduces veteran actor Anupam Kher to Kannada cinema. Ghost is identified as the second instalment in the Birbal Trilogy, following the success of the 2019 film Birbal.

Looking ahead, Shiva Rajkumar’s fans can anticipate his upcoming venture in Dhanush’s film, Captain Miller, under the direction of Arun Matheswaran. The ensemble cast includes Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, and Nassar, promising an engaging cinematic experience. While speculation suggests that Captain Miller might initiate a two-part storyline, official confirmation on this front is yet to be disclosed. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on December 15th, adding to the excitement surrounding Shiva Rajkumar’s upcoming projects.
