The much-awaited sequel to the Telugu blockbuster, “Pushpa: The Rule,” encounters an unforeseen obstacle following the arrest of Jagadeesh Bandari, famed for his role in “Pushpa: The Rise,” on charges related to a tragic incident involving the harassment of a woman resulting in her demise.
Production Turmoil and Delays:
Jagadeesh, slated for a significant role in the sequel, faced detainment, disrupting the film’s shooting schedule. While initial attempts involved filming scenes with a body double, the pivotal nature of Jagadeesh’s character poses a narrative challenge, leading to a postponement in the shooting of crucial sequences.
Efforts to Mitigate Impact:
Reports suggest strenuous efforts by Mythri Movie Makers, the production company, to secure Jagadeesh’s release. However, due to the gravity of the charges and the actor’s admission, securing bail remains elusive, prompting the production team to explore alternatives.
Consideration of Replacements:
Speculation circulates regarding the potential replacement of Jagadeesh with another actor and reshooting his scenes, although official confirmation is pending. The production, guided by director Sukumar, strives to navigate this unforeseen setback and resume filming for “Pushpa: The Rule.”
The Stellar Cast and Film Details:
“Pushpa: The Rule” features a stellar ensemble cast including Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, and more. Under the direction of Sukumar, and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar, the movie promises a cinematic spectacle on Independence Day, boasting visuals by cinematographer Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and music by Devi Sri Prasad.
