“Double iSmart” serves as a sequel to the blockbuster film “iSmart Shankar,” which was released in 2019 and became a massive commercial success. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the sequel retains Ram Pothineni in the lead role. Produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the banner of Puri Connects, the film is being made on a high budget with a focus on technical excellence.

The film’s shooting commenced a few days ago in Mumbai, with Hollywood cinematographer Gianni Giannelli contributing to the high-voltage action sequences. The movie aims to raise the bar for visual and storytelling standards.
