Samantha Ruth Prabhu Shares Glimpse of “Kushi” Shoot, Heading to Kerala for New Schedule

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the popular actress, is currently busy shooting for her upcoming romantic film “Kushi” alongside Vijay Deverakonda. She recently shared a glimpse of her shooting schedule with a selfie taken on a flight. Samantha is excited about the shoot and revealed that it involves shooting all night and partying all morning. She is now heading to Kerala for a new schedule of the film.

Taking to Instagram, Samantha posted a picture with her team from the flight as they flew from Gwalior to Kerala for the “Kushi” shoot. In the photo, Samantha flaunted her flawless no makeup face with a smile. She captioned the picture, “Shoot all night, party all day. Gwalior to Kerala. Let’s go. #Kushi.”

The promo of the film’s first single, titled “Naa Rojaa Nuvve” in Telugu and “Tu Meri Roja” in Hindi, was released on Sunday, showcasing the mesmerizing chemistry between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha. The film’s plot, as well as the roles of the lead actors, have been kept under wraps. In Samantha’s first-look poster, she was portrayed as a Hindu married woman wearing a mangal sutra.

“Kushi,” directed by Shiva Nirvana, revolves around an unconventional love story. Alongside Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, the film features Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others in supporting roles. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has Prawin Pudi as the editor and G Murali as the Director of Photography (DOP).

Initially planned for release in South Indian languages, “Kushi” is now gearing up for a Hindi release as well. The film is set to have a pan-Indian release on September 1, spanning Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.

In addition to “Kushi,” Samantha is currently shooting for the upcoming web series “Citadel” with Varun Dhawan. Directed by Raj and DK, the series is an Indian adaptation of the espionage action series created by the Russo brothers’ AGBO. The original series stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in lead roles.
