Renowned actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently announced a break from acting to focus on her health, has been delighting fans with glimpses of her life through social media. In a recent post, Samantha introduced her new pet, Gelato, a grey Persian kitty, to her followers. Samantha, who also has two dogs, Saasha and Hash, seems to be having a good start to her day, basking in the morning glow as she cuddles her new furry friend.

The talented actress recently wrapped up shooting for “Citadel India,” an upcoming project featuring Varun Dhawan in the lead role. This Indian version of the American spy thriller “Citadel” stars Samantha alongside Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Additionally, she is set to star in the romantic comedy “Kushi” alongside Vijay Deverakonda, directed by Shiv Nirvana, scheduled to hit theatres in September.

Samantha’s bold decision to switch to a shorter hair look with cool highlights framing her face has garnered attention. Following the trend of several other celebrities like Shraddha Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Anushka Sharma, Samantha now joins the short hair look club. Her beaming smile in the video reflects her contentment with the transformation.

Notably, this is not the first time Samantha has experimented with short hair. She previously chopped off her locks for her roles in “U-Turn” and “Oh Baby,” and now, she gracefully flaunts the Marilyn Monroe-inspired look.

Amid her professional commitments and change in appearance, Samantha also found time to visit the Isha Foundation in Chennai. Sharing the experience of meditation, she described it as her most powerful source of strength, providing calm, connection, and clarity in her life.

After wrapping up shoots for “Kushi” and “Citadel,” Samantha plans to take a few months break from acting to focus on her health. She is set to travel to the US for the treatment of her autoimmune condition, myositis.
