Salman Khan’s latest release, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, directed by Farhad Samji, has completed its first week at the box office with a total collection of approximately Rs 85.50 crores net in India. The film, also starring Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hegde, had a good start with solid mass support during the Eid festivities. However, the collections started dwindling after the Eid effect faded away. The film’s collections from the 3 national chains were Rs 33-34 crores, while the non-national chains and single screens contributed slightly over Rs 50 crores. The hope now is to get the mass crowds back over the second weekend to reach the Rs 100 crore net India mark.
