The much-anticipated ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire‘ has unveiled its emotive first single across five major languages, offering a poignant portrayal of the bond between the film’s central characters. Scheduled for release on December 22nd, 2023, the song encapsulates the camaraderie and brotherly connection shared by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran‘s characters.

Titled ‘Sooreede‘ in Telugu, ‘Sooraj Hi Chhaon Banke‘ in Hindi, ‘Aakaasha Gadiya‘ in Kannada, ‘Suryangam‘ in Malayalam, and ‘Suriyan Kudaiya Neetti‘ in Tamil, the song, composed by Ravi Basrur across all languages, captures the emotional journey of the protagonists. Seamlessly blending various singers and lyricists, the music evokes a heart-touching element that underscores the characters’ profound relationship.

The song features evocative scenes from the film, portraying moments of distress and solace between Prithviraj and Prabhas’ characters. One scene showcases Prithviraj waking up in distress, comforted by Prabhas, while another depicts their close bond as Prithviraj rests on Prabhas’ lap, exemplifying the depth of their relationship.

Across languages, diverse talents contribute to this melodious creation. Harini Ivaturi lends her voice in the Telugu version, penned by Krishna Kanth (KK), while singers like Vijayalaxmi Mettinahole, Kinnal Raj, Indulekha Warrier, Rajeev Govindan, Airaa Udupi, and Madhurakavi contribute to other language versions.

The Hindi rendition, sung by Indian Idol sensation Menuka Poudel and penned by Riya Mukherjee, adds a unique touch. Menuka’s remarkable voice on the current season of Indian Idol garnered appreciation from esteemed judges like Shreya Ghoshal and Kumar Sanu, who acknowledged her rendition of a song from ‘Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire.’

Directed by the renowned KGF filmmaker, the film features Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles, supported by an ensemble cast including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Eswari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, and others.

Recent reports hint at the film’s intriguing Baahubali-like cliffhanger ending, promising a thrilling narrative that spans multiple instalments, sparking excitement among eager audiences anticipating the film’s release.
