S Thaman Clarifies Rumors of Being Replaced in Mahesh Babu’s ‘Guntur Kaaram’

Renowned music composer S Thaman has addressed the recent controversy surrounding his involvement in the highly anticipated film ‘Guntur Kaaram’, starring superstar Mahesh Babu. Speculations had been circulating that Thaman was being replaced in the project due to alleged dissatisfaction with his music score by the lead actor. However, the talented musician has finally put an end to the rumours.

In a recent interaction with the Telugu media, S Thaman dismissed the baseless rumours, stating, “These rumours are baseless. I don’t know who puts up these rumours. Everyone is falling for that film. However, the team is determined and we are working collectively. We are working on the film, which is shaping up as planned. The audio track is coming out well. I am sure that the fans will love it.” Thaman’s statement has reassured fans and cleared the air regarding his involvement in the project.

‘Guntur Kaaram’, directed by the renowned Trivikram Srinivas, is an upcoming mass action thriller that showcases Mahesh Babu in yet another dynamic action hero role. The film has been in the news recently due to cast and crew changes. Initially, Pooja Hegde was set to play the female lead but had to exit the project due to scheduling conflicts. Miss Grand India 2018 Meenakshi Chaudhary has been roped in as her replacement.

The star-studded cast of ‘Guntur Kaaram’ includes Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Sree Leela, Sunil, Rekha, and many others in pivotal roles. With cinematography by PS Vinod and editing by Naveen Nooli, the film is being produced by Haarika and Hassine Creations. The much-anticipated movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 13, 2024, as a Makar Sankranti special release.
