During an interaction, Rishab Shetty lamented the rejection of Kannada films by OTT platforms, attributing it to the perceived lack of success of commercial Kannada cinema. He urged sponsors to acknowledge and support Kannada films, emphasizing the audience’s previous support at platforms like NFDC Film Bazaar.
His steadfast commitment to Kannada cinema was evident as he turned down offers from other industries post the success of “Kantara,” affirming his loyalty to the Kannada audience.
Shetty stressed the importance of quality content, expressing confidence that audiences appreciate good content irrespective of language barriers. He reiterated his dedication to Kannada cinema, particularly with the focus on the forthcoming project, “Kantara Chapter 1.”
