Ram Charan starrer RC16 is a sports drama, not a biopic

Team of RC16 starring Ram Charan, clarifies the rumors regarding the film. The film is touted to be a sports drama and not a biopic.

Global fame Ram Charan has been busy with back-to-back shoots. The actor is currently shooting Game Changer. He has also teamed up with director Buchi Babu Sana for another project, tentatively titled RC16. Rumours were making round that it is a sports film. It has been confirmed that, it’s a sports film but won’t be a biopic on any sports personality.

The team of RC16 clarified that it would be a sports drama but not a biopic. Ram Charan will commence the shoot of the film from September. RC16 is being made on a massive scale with a high budget under the banners of Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, will be a pan-India release as it will be made in multiple languages.

On Ram Charan’s birthday, the first poster of RC16 was released by the director Buchi Babu on social media. ‘He called him the heart of gold.’ Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is reportedly being considered as the female lead for the film. AR Rahman is expected to be on board as the music composer.
