Muthu, an action-packed extravaganza, features a stellar ensemble cast, including Meena, Sarath Babu, Radha Ravi, Jayabharathi, and the ever-popular Vadivelu. The storyline revolves around the tale of a zamindar, portrayed by Sarath Babu, and his loyal worker, played by Rajinikanth, both vying for the affections of the same woman, leading to a series of gripping and dramatic events.

Produced under the esteemed banner of Kavithalayaa Productions by Rajam Balachander and Pushpa Kandasamy, Muthu boasts a soul-stirring musical score composed by the maestro AR Rahman, with cinematography by Ashok Rajan.

Apart from the excitement surrounding Muthu’s re-release, Rajinikanth continues to make headlines with his upcoming projects.
