Legendary actor Rajinikanth is currently busy with his upcoming projects. Now, Sri Lanka has invited Tamil the superstar to visit the island nation in an effort to boost its tourism.
The Deputy High Commissioner of Sri Lanka’s Dr D Venkateshwaran met megastar Rajinikanth at his residence in Chennai invited him to visit the island nation and said, “as his presence will enhance cinema-induced tourism as well as spiritual and wellness tourism”.
Rajinikanth has a massive fan base among the Tamil community in Sri Lanka, while he is also extremely popular among the everyone who loves to watch films around the globe. The envoy extended an invitation for Rajinikanth to explore the newly-arranged ‘Ramayana Trail’ that is exclusive to the country and also other unique Buddhist sites in India’s southern neighbour.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is busy with his upcoming film Jailer, director by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film also features Tammannaah Bhatia, Mohanlal, Siva Rajkumar, and others in key roles. The film is scheduled to release on 10 August 2023.
