The iconic actor Rajinikanth exercised his democratic right today as Tamil Nadu joined the electoral fray for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The electoral process for the first phase commenced across 21 states, including Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan, encompassing 102 parliamentary constituencies.
Rajinikanth, known for his influence both on and off-screen, was captured arriving at the polling booth amidst a swarm of paparazzi and cameras. In a display of his commitment to civic duty, he cast his vote early in the morning, captured in snapshots where he proudly displayed his inked finger.
On the professional front, Rajinikanth is currently engrossed in the shooting of his upcoming film, Vettaiyan, helmed by T.J. Gnanavel, acclaimed for “Jai Bhim.” Previously spotted in a cop uniform during filming in Trivandrum, Kerala, reports indicate that a significant portion of the shoot has been wrapped up.
“Vettaiyan” boasts a stellar cast that includes Rana Daggubati, Fahadh Faasil, Amitabh Bachchan, and Ritika. The film is backed by A. Subaskaran under the Lyca Productions banner, with renowned Tamil music director Anirudh Ravichander scoring the soundtrack.
