Married to actress Rohini in 1996, their union brought forth their son, Rishivaran, in 1998. However, unresolved issues led to the couple’s separation in 2004, causing Raghuvaran to live separately from his son, affecting his mental well-being significantly.
Rishivaran, now 25, is gaining attention for his striking resemblance to his late father. Engaging in music, he’s released English albums, notably the collaborative “Father Son Baril,” showcasing his burgeoning musical talent.
Rishivaran’s photos and exercise videos with his mother Rohini often go viral due to his uncanny resemblance to Raghuvaran, garnering attention from online audiences. Raghuvaran’s initial passion for music reflects in Rishi’s musical pursuits.
Raghuvaran tragically passed away in 2008 due to a heart attack, partially attributed to excessive drinking and the stress of separation from his son. Despite their separation, both parents harbored deep affection for Rishi.
Beginning with Malayalam films, Raghuvaran transitioned to Tamil cinema and gained fame in the soap opera “Oru Manithanin Kathai.” His versatile roles in over 200 films earned critical acclaim, including a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Villain in “Mudhalvan.”
