PV Sindhu Ties the Knot with Venkata Datta Sai in a Grand Udaipur Wedding

The first image from Indian badminton champion PV Sindhu’s wedding has taken the internet by storm, with fans showering the newlyweds with love and admiration. Sindhu wed her fiancé, Venkata Datta Sai, in a grand and traditional ceremony in Udaipur, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

The photograph, shared by Union Minister of Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, shows Sindhu and Datta radiating happiness and elegance in their traditional wedding attire. The minister, who attended the ceremony, took to social media to express his joy, writing, “It was a pleasure to attend the wedding ceremony of our Badminton Champion Olympian PV Sindhu and Venkata Datta Sai in Udaipur last evening. I conveyed my best wishes and blessings to the couple for their new life ahead.”

The couple’s wedding celebrations kicked off with a lively sangeet on December 20, followed by the traditional haldi, pellikuthuru, and mehendi ceremonies. Sindhu’s father shared that the two families, who have known each other for years, quickly finalized the wedding plans within just a month. The wedding date was carefully chosen to ensure that Sindhu’s intense training and competition schedule for the upcoming year would not be disrupted.

Venkata Datta Sai, an executive director at Hyderabad-based Posidex Technologies, and Sindhu will host a grand reception in Hyderabad on December 24, where they will celebrate their union with extended family and friends. The stunning first wedding image has already won the hearts of fans, setting the tone for a joyful and blissful life ahead for the couple.
