Proud Rajamouli congratulates MM Keeravani on winning Padma Shri
MM Keeravani received his Padma Shri award yesterday, the oscar-winning composer was accompanied by RRR director SS Rajamouli.

The Oscar winning music composer, MM Keeravani who created history by bagging an Oscar for RRR song ‘Naatu Naatu’ has also received his Padma Shri award last night. The Padma Awards were declared by the government of India this year on January 25. The winners were presented with the awards yesterday in a grand ceremony at New Delhi’s Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The award ceremony was also attended by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. MM Keeravani was presented with the Padma Shri by India’s President Droupadi Murmu.
RRR directed SS Rajamouli had accompanied MM Keeravani for the evening. Post ceremony, Rajamouli proudly shared a picture with Keeravani on Twitter and captioned it, “So proud of my Peddanna…!!!” followed by a hug emoji. It translates to, “So proud of my big brother.”

RRR released in last March but the film has continuously been in the news this year after it kept impressing the audience and film industry members of the west. Later on, the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won the Best Original Song at the Golden Globes and soon enough at the Oscars.
