Following the global success of RRR, Jr NTR‘s stardom has reached new heights, and his upcoming projects are generating immense anticipation. While currently engrossed in the shooting of “Devara” with Koratala Siva, the actor has already announced his next venture with director Prashanth Neel, tentatively titled NTR31. Recent reports suggest that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is in talks to join the cast of the much-anticipated film.
According to buzzing reports on the internet, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is likely to play the female lead opposite Jr NTR in Prashanth Neel’s pan-Indian film, NTR31. However, the casting of Priyanka Chopra is yet to be officially confirmed by the makers.
Additionally, rumours are circulating that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan might also be part of NTR31. It is speculated that the makers are considering Aamir Khan for the role of the antagonist, who will lock horns with Jr NTR in the film. However, no official announcements regarding Aamir Khan’s involvement have been made.
NTR31 is currently in the initial stage of production, and further details about the film are eagerly awaited. The project is expected to commence filming in 2024. On his birthday, Prashanth Neel received a special gift from Jr NTR, who treated him to a homemade chicken curry. The director’s wife expressed gratitude to Jr NTR, fondly referring to him as ‘Annaya’ (elder brother).
In the meantime, Jr NTR is occupied with the shooting of Koratala Siva’s “Devara,” where he is paired opposite Janhvi Kapoor, with Saif Ali Khan playing the antagonist. On the other hand, Prashanth Neel is currently focused on his upcoming film “Salaar” starring Prabhas. The shooting has reportedly concluded, and the project has moved into the post-production phase. The film also features Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in pivotal roles.
