Prabhas Unveils Futuristic Robot ‘Bujji’ at ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ Event

At a grand event in Hyderabad, the makers of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ introduced the most anticipated character of the film, Bujji, with lead actor Prabhas taking centre stage.

Prabhas stole the spotlight with a dazzling entry, driving a sports car amidst fireworks and roaring applause from the audience. He later revealed ‘Bujji’, a tiny robot controlled by the brain and voiced by Keerthy Suresh.

Director Nag Ashwin expressed his enthusiasm for Bujji, describing it as the most challenging and intriguing character in the film, set to add a new dimension to the storyline with its futuristic design and advanced technology.

During a thrilling Indian Premier League match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the makers shared a teaser unveiling Amitabh Bachchan’s look in the sci-fi dystopian film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.

The teaser showcased Big B in warm, earthy tones, seated in a cave engaged in prayer to a Shiva linga, covered with bandages. In a brief exchange with a young child, his character hinted at a deep connection to ancient mythology.

The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is poised to be a mythology-inspired sci-fi extravaganza. Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani are also part of the Kalki universe.
