Prabhas-starrer “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire” has been commanding the box office, amassing over ₹650 crores worldwide, holding its ground against Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki,” released around Christmas 2024. In an exclusive interview with India Today, Prabhas delved into the timeline for “Salaar 2: Shouryaanga Parvam” and offered insights into his 2024 plans.
Addressing “Salaar 2,” Prabhas revealed, “The story is ready, and we’re gearing up to commence filming shortly, aiming for a swift release to gratify the eager anticipation of my fans. Details of ‘Salaar Part 2’ will be unveiled soon.”
Expressing his cinematic aspirations, Prabhas emphasized, “My goal is to entertain a diverse global audience through my work. Each film I choose aims to captivate and entertain. The forthcoming project ventures into a futuristic genre. ‘Salaar’ is an intense mass film, while the next project explores horror, enabling me to diversify and entertain audiences. I hope they shower as much love on my future ventures as they have on ‘Salaar.'”
Offering a glimpse into “Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam,” director Prashanth Neel shared his excitement about the film’s concluding chapter. He articulated, “The world and characters established in ‘Salaar: Part 1’ will converge in the sequel, amplifying the dynamics between Deva and Varadha. That’s the essence of ‘Salaar 2’s finale.”
