Hyderabad, India Telugu superstar Prabhas has once again grabbed the attention of fans and the film industry as he continues to work on his highly-anticipated upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘Raja Deluxe.’ Helmed by director Maruthi Dasari, the movie is reportedly a horror comedy that promises to showcase Prabhas in a distinct role, deviating from his larger-than-life action-hero image.

While rumours are rife regarding the possible titles for the film, with names like “Royal” and “Ambassador” in consideration, no official confirmation has been made. However, speculation leans towards the title “Royal” being finalized.

According to reports, approximately 20 percent of the shooting for ‘Raja Deluxe’ has already been completed. The majority of the film is set to take place within a house, and it is said that an estimated INR 6 crore has been invested in constructing the set. The movie is expected to deliver a unique blend of horror and comedy, capitalizing on Prabhas’ star power and the director’s expertise.

Apart from Prabhas, ‘Raja Deluxe’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including acclaimed actor Sanjay Dutt, along with talented performers Malavika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar. Furthermore, rumours have circulated that renowned filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma may make a cameo appearance in the film, although these reports have yet to be confirmed.

In an interesting twist, unconfirmed reports suggest that Prabhas has devised a strategic approach for ‘Raja Deluxe’ to maximize profits. Rather than charging a fixed salary as remuneration, the actor is rumoured to have opted for a profit-sharing model. This decision reflects Prabhas’ desire to prioritize the success and financial gains of the film, avoiding excessive budgetary constraints while aiming for optimal returns.

Maruthi Dasari, known for his knack for delivering entertaining films within a reasonable budget, has previously tasted box office success with hits like ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.’ With the combined efforts of Prabhas and the director’s expertise, ‘Raja Deluxe’ is expected to be crafted within a budget of less than INR 100 crore, while still generating substantial pre-release and theatrical revenue.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has also made significant progress on another ambitious project, tentatively titled ‘Project K,’ directed by Nag Ashwin. This multi-starrer extravaganza features an impressive ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Deepika Padukone, Nani, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Kamal Haasan, and many other renowned actors. The film has completed nearly 80 percent of its shooting, raising anticipation among fans.

As fans eagerly await the release of ‘Raja Deluxe’ and ‘Project K,’ Prabhas continues to captivate audiences with his versatility and dedication to diverse roles, solidifying his position as one of the most sought-after actors in Telugu cinema.
