Prabhas’ Salaar Gains Momentum Despite Adipurush’s Setback, Expected to Surpass Pre-release Business of Rs 500 Crore

Prabhas, the acclaimed superstar who has garnered immense popularity across the country, continues to be a force to reckon with in the film industry. While his recent pan-India release, Adipurush, failed to meet expectations at the box office, the buzz surrounding his upcoming film, Salaar, remains strong and unaffected. Directed by Prashanth Neel, renowned for the KGF franchise, Salaar is reportedly receiving exciting offers for theatrical rights and is anticipated to achieve a pre-release business surpassing Rs 500 crore. If the reports are to be believed, Salaar is set to surpass the pre-release business of SS Rajamouli’s highly-anticipated RRR.

Sources reveal that Salaar has already earned Rs 80 crore from its overseas theatrical rights, indicating its popularity among international audiences. The film is also expected to perform exceptionally well in the Telugu-speaking states and the rest of India.

Prabhas’ collaboration with Prashanth Neel has generated significant anticipation among fans, especially following the success of the KGF franchise. Alongside Prabhas, Salaar boasts an impressive cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. Produced by Hombale Films, the film features music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda. Salaar is slated for a theatrical release in September 2023.
