Prabhas Joins Pooja Ceremony for Hanu Raghavapudi’s ‘Fauji,’ a Film on the Razakar Movement

Prabhas has been making headlines recently due to buzz surrounding his forthcoming film, Fauji, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film is rumored to explore the Razakar movement, and progress has been marked by a significant milestone: the commencement of production with a traditional pooja ceremony.

A viral image on X (formerly Twitter) captures Prabhas at the pooja ceremony, where he is seen alongside director Hanu Raghavapudi. Both are photographed beaming with smiles as they participate in the auspicious event. Additional images shared on X reveal the ceremony’s setting, including a banner reading ‘Prabhas Hanu’ and an idol of Lord Ganesha, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. The venue is beautifully adorned with flowers.

Recently, Mythri Movie Makers teased fans with a cryptic hint about the first official update on Prabhas’ film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. Decoding the message reveals that the much-anticipated announcement for the project is set to be revealed today, August 17, 2024, at 4:05 PM.

As of now, Fauji (a working title) has only confirmed Prabhas in the lead role, with speculation about the female lead continuing. Names like Pakistani actress Sajal Aly and Mrunal Thakur have been mentioned, but recent rumors suggest Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor might be cast in the role, following Mrunal’s denial of the rumors in a playful post.

In addition to Fauji, Prabhas is also attracting attention for another upcoming film, The Raja Saab, set for release in 2025.
