Prabhas Faces Box Office Setback with “Adipurush” as Fans Anticipate Upcoming Projects “Project K” and “Salaar”

Prabhas, the pan-India star, is currently grappling with the underwhelming performance of his recent film “Adipurush,” directed by Om Raut. This disappointment adds to his previous setbacks with films like “Saaho” and “Radhe Shyam.” However, the actor’s fans remain hopeful as they eagerly anticipate the release of his upcoming projects, “Project K” and “Salaar,” which have been generating significant buzz in the industry and online.

Prabhas made his debut in the film industry with “Eeshwar,” directed by Jayant Paranji, exactly 21 years ago on June 28, 2002. The film showcased Prabhas’ acting prowess and played a crucial role in establishing his position in the industry. “Eeshwar” revolves around the story of a motherless child named Eeswar, who harbours resentment towards his father for remarrying after his mother’s death. The plot takes an intriguing turn when Eeswar falls in love with the daughter of a local politician, leading him into a series of troubles. Although “Eeshwar” received only moderate success at the box office, it marked the beginning of Prabhas’ journey in the film industry. In a previous interaction with the media, producer Dutt revealed some details about the film’s plot, stating that it revolves around the modern-day avatar of Lord Vishnu, who descends to Earth to protect it from evil forces. The movie boasts an impressive cast including Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and other talented actors.

Meanwhile, “Salaar,” a pan-Indian action thriller directed by Prashanth Neel of “KGF” fame, is currently in the post-production stage and is set to release on September 28, 2023. The film follows the journey of a gang leader who fulfils a promise made to a friend and takes on rival gangs. “Salaar” features a stellar ensemble cast including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Yash, Shreya Reddy, and others. Produced by Hombale Films, “Salaar” is rumoured to be a spin-off from the highly successful “KGF Chapter 2.”

As Prabhas navigates the ups and downs of his career, his fans remain devoted and eagerly await his upcoming projects. With “Project K” and “Salaar” promising unique and engaging storylines alongside talented casts, anticipation continues to build among moviegoers and enthusiasts alike.
