After facing disappointment with two consecutive film flops, “Radhe Shyam” and “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” actress Pooja Hegde seems to have a positive turn of events in her career. As per an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Pooja is reportedly in talks to play the female lead in a promising South film. The movie is said to be helmed by Trivikram Srinivas’s production house and will feature Sai Dharam Tej in a prominent role. The project, touted as a mass entertainer, is anticipated to commence filming later this year, with an official announcement awaited.
In another development, Pooja Hegde made headlines recently due to her exit from the highly-anticipated project titled “Guntur Kaaram,” starring Mahesh Babu. According to India Today’s exclusive report, Pooja had initially shot for 10 days for the film but later decided to opt-out. The report cited scheduling conflicts as the reason behind her departure. Pooja had allocated 40 days for the shoot, but the constantly changing dates hindered her ability to commit to other projects and shoot for commercials. Consequently, actress Meenakshi Chaudhary has replaced Pooja in “Guntur Kaaram.”
Interestingly, the same scheduling issue was also mentioned as the reason for Pooja’s exit from “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” directed by Harish Shankar. The female lead role in the film will now be portrayed by Sreemukhi.
Looking ahead, Pooja Hegde has her sights set on the upcoming fifth instalment of the popular “Housefull” franchise. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film features actors Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon in prominent roles and is slated for a theatrical release in November 2024.
Pooja Hegde’s potential involvement in the forthcoming South film brings hope to her fans as she seeks to revive her career after the recent setbacks. With new opportunities on the horizon, Pooja’s fans eagerly anticipate witnessing her on-screen magic once again.
