Ponniyin Selvan 2 team arrives in Hyderabad for promotions

The team of Ponniyin Selvan 2 has been gearing up for the release of the film. directed by Mani Ratnam, the part PS1 had garnered a lot of praises and appreciation from the audience. It had become highest Tamil grosser last year. The team of PS2 has been promoting the film back-to-back in various parts of India.

Now, the team has arrived in Hyderabad for promotions. The ensemble cast featuring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Vikram, Karthi, and Jayam Ravi were spotted arriving at the Hyderabad airport. Aishwarya’s daughter Aaradhya was also with her. The Cholas arrived in style, all of them were looking absolutely dashing.

The cast of Ponniyin Selvan 1 will reprise their roles in the second instalment. The sequel will continue from where it left in the first part. PS2 features Karthi in the role of Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, the orphaned prince of the Vana clan, Chiyaan Vikram as crown prince Aditya Karikalan, Jayam Ravi in the role of Arumozhi Varma aka Ponniyin Selvan, the future emperor. Trisha Krishnan essays the role of princess Kundavai Devi, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appears in a double role, as antagonist Nandini and Oomai Rani. The film is slated to release on April 28.
