The production of the song “Aayudha Pooja” from the highly anticipated film Devara has officially commenced in Hyderabad. Featuring NTR Jr and Janhvi Kapoor, the song is expected to be a vibrant highlight of the movie. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the track is set to energize audiences and capture the spirit of the film.
On Monday, the film’s team shared an update on Instagram, showcasing a glimpse from the ongoing shoot with the caption, “‘Aayudha Pooja’. Filming underway. #Devara.” Choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, the song’s production is impressive, involving over 400 dancers and 300 actors, with filming scheduled to continue for six days.
Previously, the film’s makers released two contrasting songs: one that emphasizes NTR Jr’s intense persona and another that focuses on his romantic chemistry with Janhvi Kapoor.
Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, also stars Saif Ali Khan, Srikanth, Prakash Raj, and Kalaiarasan. The film, which is being released in two parts, has already garnered attention with its recently unveiled “Fear Song,” also composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematography for the film is handled by R Rathnavelu.
In June, the production team filmed another song in the stunning locales of Thailand. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Devara is also set to be distributed in North India by KJo and AA Films, led by Anil Thadani.
