New posters of Samantha Ruth Prabhu as princess in Shaakuntalam released

Makers of Shaakuntalam have released posters of Samantha as princess Shaakuntala in which she redefines beauty.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most loved south actor. She was last seen in Yashoda, for which she received praises from the audience. Currently, she has been gearing up for her much anticipated mythological drama Shaakunlatam.

Makers of Shaakuntalam have unveiled new posters of Samantha. Portraying princess Shakuntala, Samantha looks divine & exudes royalty. Her beauty in the golden lehenga with heavy embroidery and traditional gold jewellery is unmatched. Neeta Lulla is the costume designer for Samantha for this film. This is the first time the she is playing a mythological character and we can’t wait to see her on big screen.

Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is a whimsical tale of love and is based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam. Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha is making her acting debut with the film and will be seen as Prince Bharata.

Shaakuntalam is gearing up for a grand release worldwide next month. Shaakuntalam was initially scheduled to release in February but got postponed. The film is now set to release on April 14, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The film will also be available in 3D.
