Exploring Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU):
LCU, an interconnected series conceptualized and helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, commenced its journey with Kaithi, later extending its narrative in Vikram starring Kamal Haasan. The universe expanded further, roping in Thalapathy Vijay as Leo and featuring Suriya as the primary antagonist.
As Lokesh focuses on his upcoming directorial venture with Superstar Rajinikanth for the anticipated Thalaivar 171, it’s confirmed that Kaithi 2 will follow suit. Casting speculations for the Lokesh-Rajinikanth collaboration have surfaced, including names like Raghava Lawrence, Mammootty, and Sivakarthikeyan.
Although the remaining cast members remain officially undisclosed, rumors suggest the involvement of Raghava Lawrence, Sivakarthikeyan, and Jeeva from Kaaka Kaaka. Filming is slated to commence post-Rajinikanth’s completion of Vettaiyan with director TJ Gnanavel.
Lokesh’s venture as a producer with his debut production, Fight Club, starring actor-director Vijay Kumar, is set to hit the screens on December 15, 2023, following the success of Uriyadi 2.
