South actor Naga Shaurya has been facing a rough patch at the box office lately. Despite his hopes for a turnaround with his film “Rangabali,” the movie has failed to meet expectations. Adding to his disappointment, “Rangabali” has received negative reviews from both critics and audiences. The situation took an unpleasant turn during a press conference organized by the film’s team, where a journalist’s question provoked Naga Shaurya to walk out.

A video of the incident has gone viral, capturing the journalist’s query about Naga Shaurya’s character and his alleged lack of understanding of the film’s backdrop. Although director Pawan Basamsetti attempted to address the question, the journalist persisted.

In the midst of the back-and-forth between the journalist and Pawan, Naga Shaurya took hold of the director’s microphone and clarified that his on-screen character was portrayed as young and dynamic, emphasizing that he was not concerned with delving into intricate details about the protagonist’s age. The actor further asserted that paying attention to such minor details would unnecessarily lengthen the film’s duration, possibly up to 16 hours. After the press conference concluded, Naga Shaurya abruptly left without providing any further statement, leaving everyone surprised.

The synopsis of “Rangabali” describes the protagonist as a happy-go-lucky individual with an aggressive nature and a strong sense of local identity. While his father owns a medical shop, the character himself lacks basic knowledge of medicine, despite a romantic interest in who is a doctor.

Apart from Naga Shaurya, the mass entertainer features Yukti Thareja, Shine Tom Chacko, Sathya, Rajkumar Kasireddy, and Brahmaji among others. Directed by Pawan Basamsetti and produced by Sudhakar Cherkuri, the film boasts music by Pavan CH and cinematography by Divakar Mani.

With “Rangabali” facing challenges at the box office and receiving mixed reviews, Naga Shaurya’s exit from the press conference adds another unexpected twist to the film’s journey. It remains to be seen how the actor will navigate through this period and bounce back with his future projects.
