Naga Chaitanya’s Team Denies Rumors of Starring in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 South Remake

Naga Chaitanya, the popular South Indian actor, has recently been in the headlines due to rumours surrounding his involvement in the South remake of the blockbuster Hindi film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Reports suggested that he would be stepping into the shoes of Kartik Aaryan in the remake alongside Jyothika. However, Naga Chaitanya’s team has dismissed these rumours, labelling them as ‘false’.

Taking to Twitter, Naga Chaitanya’s team reacted to the rumours and clarified the actor’s position regarding the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 South remake. Their tweet read, “FACT CHECK: The news which is being circulated regarding Chay doing the remake of #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 is completely false. – Team Naga Chaitanya”.

The news of Naga Chaitanya starring in the South remake of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was reported by a newspaper publication. The report also claimed that Jyothika had been roped in to portray the role originally played by Tabu in the film. Additionally, it was mentioned that the remake would be titled Brahmaputra. However, all these claims have been proven false, as Naga Chaitanya’s team firmly denied his involvement in any remake and urged the public not to spread fake news.

Producer KE Gnanavel Raja recently confirmed that he has acquired the rights to the 2022 Hindi film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. In an interview with Free Press Journal, he mentioned that while the story would remain largely unchanged, they would make certain modifications to cater to the taste of the South Indian audience, particularly Tamil and Telugu viewers.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the Hindi original, featured Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, and Tabu in lead roles. Directed by Anees Bazmi, the film emerged as a massive blockbuster at the box office.

In terms of Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming projects, the actor was last seen in Venkat Prabhu’s Custody, which received positive reviews from audiences. The film also starred Krithi Shetty and Arvind Swami in prominent roles. As of now, Naga Chaitanya is yet to announce his next venture, keeping his fans eagerly awaiting his next on-screen appearance.

While the rumours surrounding Naga Chaitanya’s involvement in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 South remake created a buzz, his team’s denial has put the speculations to rest.
