Putting an end to recent speculations, Naga Chaitanya has firmly refuted the rumours surrounding his alleged walkout from a theatre during the screening of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s new film, “Kushi.” The actor took to social media to dismiss the rumours as baseless and termed them as “utter rubbish.”
The grapevine had been abuzz with reports that Naga Chaitanya had stormed out of a theatre due to the trailer of “Kushi,” Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming movie. Fans and media outlets alike had grabbed onto this story, fueling the rumour mill. However, Naga Chaitanya has unequivocally denied these allegations, setting the record straight.
In a conversation with Times Now, Naga Chaitanya stated, “It is utter rubbish. Some Telugu websites started this rumour. I have already requested them to correct the article.” His response left no room for ambiguity, clarifying that the reports were unfounded from the start.
The context of these rumours can be traced back to Naga Chaitanya’s past relationship with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, culminating in their divorce. Addressing this chapter of his life, Naga Chaitanya previously shared with the Times of India, “It’s been more than two years since we separated and a year since we were formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life. She is a lovely person and deserves all happiness.”
In an interview with Pinkvilla last year, Naga Chaitanya emphasized the mutual respect between them, stating, “We both came out and put our statements, and we both have immense respect for each other. I always look up to what she is doing. And there will always be great respect for her. That’s about it. We said what we have too. Beyond that, it’s just people trying to fill up columns, and there’s nothing else. I mean, I’m bored of it. I have been through three releases, and I’m still attached to it.”
The couple’s separation in 2021 marked the end of their marriage, and rumours about their split had been swirling for a considerable period before it was officially confirmed. Despite their journey taking separate paths, both Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu continue to uphold a mature and respectful outlook towards one another.
Naga Chaitanya has categorically denied the recent rumours surrounding his purported walkout from a theatre showing the trailer of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s film “Kushi.” With his direct clarification, the actor aims to put an end to the baseless speculation and reaffirm his commitment to moving forward positively and respectfully.
