Amidst the clamour of anticipation surrounding Nag Ashwin‘s ambitious venture, Kalki 2898 AD, the revelation of its potential trailer release date has sparked a whirlwind of excitement among eager fans. The science fiction spectacle, headlined by Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, has been a hot topic since its announcement over three years ago, captivating enthusiasts, especially after its unveiling at the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con. days

In a recent interaction at a college event, director Nag Ashwin tantalized fans by addressing the impending trailer release. Responding to an enthusiast’s query, Ashwin playfully suggested that the much-anticipated trailer might grace screens in approximately 93 days. However, the director swiftly clarified that his declaration was impromptu and not an official confirmation. Should his impulsive statement hold any truth, fans might witness the Kalki 2898 AD trailer debut on March 31, 2024, coincidentally falling on a Sunday.

Kalki 2898 AD emerges as Nag Ashwin’s fourth directorial venture following his notable works including Yevade Subramanyam, Mahanati, and the anthology segment X-Life in Pitta Kathalu. Initially introduced as Project K in 2020, the film revealed Prabhas as the lead protagonist in this futuristic tale.

The ensemble cast includes the likes of Disha Patani, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Pasupathy, among others in pivotal roles, propelling expectations sky-high.
