Apart from their current work on the highly anticipated Ram, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph are also simultaneously working on the third instalment of the iconic Drishyam franchise. The franchise has garnered immense popularity, with both Drishyam and Drishyam 2 becoming massive successes, not only in Malayalam but also in various other languages through remakes. The filmmakers have a long-term vision for the franchise, planning to shoot Drishyam 3 alongside the Hindi and Malayalam versions, with a synchronized release across India. While Mohanlal will reprise his role as George Kutty in the Malayalam version, Ajay Devgn will portray the character of Vijay Salgaonkar for the rest of India.
