Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra praises Priyanka Chopra’s performance in ‘Citadel’

Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra Group, recently took to Twitter to express his admiration for Priyanka Chopra’s performance in her latest series, ‘Citadel’. The six-episode series, created by Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil, premiered on April 28 and will be available to stream in multiple languages.

Mahindra was particularly impressed with Chopra’s portrayal of agent Nadia Sinh and her action stunts in the series. He tweeted, “Caught the first episodes of Citadel over the weekend. Was left unmoved by the typical Russo brothers OTT plot but seeing @priyankachopra as an action hero was a revelation. She puts most of our male action heroes in the shade.”

Mahindra also praised Chopra’s ambitious and adaptive nature, stating that she is “clearly living life on her own terms & taking on the world, one step at a time. More power to her…”

Chopra, who comes from a military family, has previously credited her upbringing for her resilience and determination. ‘Citadel’ marks her return to the small screen after a hiatus, and her fans are delighted to see her in a new avatar.

The series also stars Richard Madden, Roland Moller, and other talented actors in key roles. With its intriguing plot and star-studded cast, ‘Citadel’ is expected to be one of the most-watched series of the year.
