Thalapathy Vijay‘s latest starrer “Leo,” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has been creating waves at the box office, despite facing some criticism. The film was under scrutiny for its second half, particularly a controversial flashback sequence that left viewers perplexed. In a recent turn of events, the makers of “Leo” have released a video that confirms director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s earlier claim that the flashback was intentionally crafted to be deceptive, designed from the perspective of a singular character.

This revelation arrives amidst scepticism from netizens, who initially dismissed the claim as an attempt to conceal the alleged error. However, the released footage substantiates the director’s assertion, deepening the enigma around the storyline’s authenticity. Lokesh Kanagaraj, in response to inquiries about Leo’s character, has kept the suspense alive, alluding to a surprising trajectory.

Moreover, the filmmaker has unveiled plans for “Kaithi – 2,” emphasizing its event-driven narrative rather than a character-centric approach, promising an engaging cinematic experience for the audience. Notably, the movie will feature prominent figures from the Lokesh Cinematic Universe, raising expectations for an enthralling ensemble performance.

Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to take a six-month hiatus from social media, dedicating his time to the pre-production and scripting his upcoming venture, “Thalaivar 171,” starring Rajinikanth. In a departure from his previous projects, this standalone film boasts a stellar crew, including the musical prowess of Anirudh Ravichander and the dynamic action choreography by the renowned Anbariv duo. With these exciting developments, the anticipation for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s future projects continues to soar, promising a dynamic and engaging cinematic journey for audiences.
